What is the estate fee/service charge and what does it include?

The estate fee is £314.62 per month, including the lease on your plot, the surrounding area (plot plan provided with measurements), and sewerage. It's reviewed annually on January 1st and regulated by the CPI. (Please verify the correct amount with accounts due to ongoing disputes with residents’ estate fees).

What is the council tax band and how much is it?

Council tax bands vary by property, with a mixture of A & B throughout the development. For Band A, it's £1,683.85, and for Band B, it's £1,964.49.

Is this a fully residential development, can I live here all year round?

Yes, we have a full residential license from the local council allowing year-round residency at Regency Heights, which can be your main UK residency. The site license is available for viewing on the notice board at the marketing suite/site office.

What are the utilities for the development?

All homes have independent electricity meters; gas is currently supplied via gas bottles, and water is metered independently.

Is there an age restriction to live on the development?

Yes, residents must be 45 or older to live on the development.

Am I allowed to have pets at Regency Heights?

Yes, we allow 2 dogs and 2 cats per property.

Do I have to maintain my own plot or does the maintenance team look after it for me?

Residents are responsible for maintaining their own plots. The provided plot plan indicates what is yours to maintain and allows you to complete any necessary works, subject to approval from the site supervisor and fulfilment of a works-to-plot application.

Is there any local public transport around the development?

Yes, there is a bus stop at the bottom of the entrance to the development linking Poole and Blandford.

How much is it to reserve a home or plot on any of your developments?

Reserving a plot or home requires a £2,500 deposit, initiating the selling process of your existing property. This deposit is fully refundable with written confirmation within 30 working days.

Do I have my own parking space?

All plots have their own allocated parking spaces for residents. This is part of your plot; refer to your plot plan for measurements.
